Western blot imaging has never been so easy than with the GeneGnome5. For many years, GeneGnome has been one of Syngene's unique and very popular systems. We have sold hundreds worldwide and have a strong customer following for this product. GeneGnome has now been updated to include a much higher resolution camera.

As always, the GeneGnome is a fully automated system with a small footprint and is optimised for highly sensitive imaging of chemiluminescence blots and plates. Built-in epi white LEDs are included so that coloured markers can be imaged. No external PC is required.

The GeneGnome5 now features our super 16 bit 5 million pixel camera which is proving to be such a success with the G:BOX XR5 system. With these 5 million REAL pixels (not digital zooming) you can capture high resolution images or if need be, binned images for extra sensitivity and acquisition speed.

This is the first product within its class for both price and performance to offer 5 million pixels. With this level of resolution the product guarantees superb images of all your chemiluminescent blots and plates. Please remember that the maximum blot size in a GeneGnome is 11 x 8cm. The camera is cooled and has very low noise so imaging chemiluminescent samles is easy. Using GeneSys makes capturing any sample a simple, automatic process. It is genuinely a one-button process with capture times automatically calculated. Exposure times of many hours are possible and always result in clean crisp images.
