The T:Genius is an integrated system for DNA and protein analysis, featuring an integrated tablet PC running the highly acclaimed GeneSys automated control system for image capture and editing.
A new generation CCD camera enables you to select an image output of 12.9m pixels. T:Genius uses an f1.0 motor driven zoom lens to enable perfect imaging of any gel or blot. The maximum viewing area is 24 x 20cm which is very large for such a small foot print unit.
Internal lighting includes a UV transilluminator option for working with DNA gels. A white light converter can quickly extend its use for working with visible gels and blots.
With the increased demand for imaging DNA gels at a higher wavelength than UV, to prevent DNA damage, the T:Genius has powerful epi blue LEDs that are compatible with "safe" dyes such as SYBR®Safe.
Quickly generate quantitative data with GeneTools analysis software. The T:Genius comes with 4 extra copies of GeneTools analysis software as standard.
Check the status of an image capture and access your recently captured images from any computer, smartphone or tablet on the same network as T:Genius system using the new "Status Link" feature. This is ideal for any busy laboratory.
The T:Genius is now available in three exciting colours - choose between Hot Chilli Red, Cool Ice Blue or Bright Crystal Silver.

Visible light converter
Converts UV to visible light for imaging gels and blots.
Blue light transilluminator
Used when alternative dyes to EtBr are required. A blue light transilluminator is a "safe" light source in that the user is not exposed to harmful UV radiation and samples are free from photonicking. This transilluminator replaces the UV transilluminator in all products.
The filter slider takes the 72mm range of filters.
We recommend a thermal A6 printer such as Sony or Mitsubishi. These USB printers will ‘plug and play’ with the T:Genius processor and require minimal setup. They will print hard copies of images in under 5 seconds on long life glossy thermal paper to give photographic quality images.
