If you have already installed GeneSys on your PC and want to update it:
The new GeneSys software is now available for use with the G:Box series of products that were delivered since July 2008. This software replaces GeneSnap. However, please note that we do not provide support for installing GeneSys on any system sold before this date.
GeneSys is compatible with various Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11. The current version of GeneSys works with x64 editions of these operating systems. If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, please ensure you have GeneSys version 1.3.1 or later, as earlier versions will not be compatible. For the best experience, we recommend using professional editions of Windows operating systems. Also, if you plan to use a white light screen with GeneSys, you must have the NovaGlo4 or Convert5 versions.
Before updating GeneSys, please unplug the camera USB cable from your PC. You can reconnect it once the installation is complete.
The update notes are listed below the update button. If you have any issues please contact our support team support@syngene.com
