EPI lighting
- Overhead lighting provided using an EPI module which has 254nm, 365nm or white light sources
RGB and UV module
- An unique lighting system, the RGB/UV module is built around a bank of 84 LEDs with corresponding narrow band filters
- Red, blue, green, white
- Excitation filters
- 254nm and 365nm light sources
- Minimal heating effects - more controllable than conventional halogen/tungsten bulb system

IR illumination
- In addition to the red, green and blue illumination sources, this module also has IR LEDs, giving an output in the IR range of 730 - 760nm. The applications for IR include imaging of fluorescent antibodies on western blots. Used with the IR emission filter (IR780), applications such as tubulin labelled with Alexa Fluor 750 can be excited. The IR780 has an emission range of 780 - 840nm which means a number of IR applications can be successfully imaged with this new module and filter combination
